The Western Australian Ice Hockey Association Inc. (Ice Hockey WA) has been in the process of undertaking a comprehensive review of its governance framework including its constitution, policies and procedures and risk management framework. IHWA as part of its review sought funding from the Department of Local Government Sports and Cultural Industries and Lotterywest and was successful in securing a grant to assist with the process.
The process has now reached consultation phase for the wider association membership and consultation on a new IHWA Constitution has begun. The survey link below will take you to a Microsoft Form – we ask that you take the time to read and understand the information and respond by providing constructive and actionable feedback.
The survey will remain open for a period of two weeks from 14/09/2022 5:00PM until 28/09/2022 5:00PM AWST.
After which, the responses will be collated by the Council and where appropriate feedback will be actioned accordingly. Upon completion of this consultation process the Council’s wish to provide all members an opportunity to have their opinion heard in relation to the ongoing management of the organisation, we will ensure the feedback provided from members plays an important part in shaping the future of Ice Hockey WA. After the Council has completed the consultation process, it is envisioned to begin the process to ensure the new constitution is passed and lodged with the appropriate regulatory authorities and subsequently to then begin onboarding a new council dedicated to the servicing of the association, its needs and most importantly its members.
